Calculation of Probabilities Using the Normal Distribution

This is a calculation tool developed for use by anybody who wants to use it. It uses the trapezoidal rule to calculate the approximate area under the normal curve from the mean to some X value as shown in the figure.



The values that are calculated are usually very close to those shown in the text book but may differ in the fourth decimal place.
