Precalculus I

This website is designed to assist my one student, Colleen Anderson in Math 121, Precalculus I. Anyone else is welcome to use the material here, but you should understand that other instructors may not view things the same way that I view them. In addition many of the examples and comments are keyed to our textbook, "Precalculus, Mathematics for Calculus, 4th Edition, ISBN:0-534-38541-9

Colleen, I have organized the work shown here around an 8 week class. It may take you a little longer or a little less time. Since it is only you and I we have some slack as long as you finish before your year is up. Each week you are expected to read a specified amount of material in the textbook (see Course Syllabus). The website is designed to supplement the textbook materiall.. There is homework for each section. Probably the easiest way to submit your homework is to write your answers using a word processor then attach that file to an e-mail that you send it to me at rlbroderson@aaahawk.com (note this is a different from the address you have beein using up to now.) WordPad works very well as does NotePad or Word itself. If you do not have any of these use a text editor and attach your file to your email as a straight text file. Please keep your file size below 100k. Don't send me files that are megabytes in size. While I have some storage at aaahawk I don't have enough for large files. My hotmail account is even more limited which is why I want you to send your emails to me at rlbroderson@aaahawk.com.

This page of the website provides you with an access port to the material available here. The sub-pages listed below provide information in specific areas. Some of the pages arenot ready yet. I will be adding pages as the days go on. If you have questions or comments you may send them to me via email.
